QR code check-in
Every confirmed booking generates a personal QR code that the client can show on arrival for instant check-in, with no manual lookup in the attendee list.
Where the client finds their QR code
Section titled “Where the client finds their QR code”In the widget, under My bookings, the client clicks QR code to display the code for their confirmed booking.
Scanning the QR code
Section titled “Scanning the QR code”Any phone (yours or a staff member’s) will do: open the camera app and scan the QR code shown by the client. It opens an instant confirmation page showing the client’s name and the slot — no staff login required.
Validity rules
Section titled “Validity rules”- The QR code is valid up to 2 hours after the slot starts
- It’s single-use — scanning it a second time shows “QR already used”
- An expired or invalid QR shows a clear error message
If scanning doesn’t work
Section titled “If scanning doesn’t work”QR check-in is a convenience, not a requirement: if a client can’t show their QR code, you can still confirm their attendance manually (or mark a no-show) from the slot’s attendee list.
